What is it?

Healthy SF is a mandatory surcharge all businesses with 20+ employees have to pay to help the city's health care access program, Healthy San Francisco. HSF isn't insurance or health care, but it offers affordable care for uninsured San Francisco residents who don't qualify for Medicare or Medi-Cal. 

Why not just increase your Drink prices?

Some people argue that restaurants should simply raise menu prices to cover the HSF costs. But the reason we add it as an additional line-item is because we want to be 100% transparent with you. We want you to know exactly what you are paying for and where your money goes towards. 

Who is affected?

This mandate only affects our stores in San Francisco: Mission, Union Square, Hayes Valley, Potrero, Fillmore, NoPa
